Construction Associate | International Law Firm | City of London

BCL Legal is delighted to be working with a highly regarded international law firm that is looking to appoint a talented Non-Contentious Lawyer with 2-5 years' PQE to join their market-leading London construction team. The Role

As a key member of the construction team, you will:

- Advise on a broad range of high-value, non-contentious construction projects across sectors including property, infrastructure, energy, and transport.
- Work closely with developers, contractors, funders and consultants, amongst other clients on transactional matters.
- Engage with multidisciplinary teams including property, finance, and corporate lawyers to deliver seamless client solutions.
- Draft, negotiate, and review construction contracts (including JCT and NEC forms) and related documentation.
- Support more junior team members and contribute to business development initiatives.

About You

To succeed in this role you will have:

- Between 2 and 5 years' PQE focused on non-contentious construction law, ideally gained at a strong commercial national or City practice.
- Solid experience advising on development projects and a good understanding of project structures.
- Practical knowledge of JCT, NEC, and other standard construction contracts.
- Excellent commercial awareness combined with technical expertise.
- A proactive and client-focused approach with strong communication and organisational skills.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a dynamic team.
